French Woods Sports and Arts Center Has a New Name: New York Teen Camp

September 1, 2026

Dear FWC Families,

We’re excited to share some news as we look ahead to Summer 2027.

French Woods Sports and Arts Center has a new name: New York Teen Camp (NYTC).

While our name is changing, the camp you know and love is not. I will still be here, and the same wonderful team will continue to create the summer experience you know and expect from us. The people, the program, the traditions, the friendships, the fun, and the summer magic remain exactly where they belong.

Our new logo keeps an important part of our camp identity by incorporating our mascot, the French Woods Falcon, alongside the new name.

Something we’re finding humor in is the large FW tiled in the floor of our swimming pool. After much thought and until we resurface the pool, the FW will stand for Falcon Water.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone in Summer 2027!
